Bot copy

Bot copy

Overview

Creating a copy of a bot can be incredibly useful for several reasons:
  1. Testing and Development: If you want to test new bot's changes, using a copy of the bot can help you experiment without risking the functionality of the live version. This way, you can identify and resolve issues in a controlled environment.
  2. Customization for Different Use Cases: Sometimes, you might need the bot to perform slightly different tasks or interact differently based on specific scenarios or user groups. Creating a copy allows you to customize each bot to meet unique requirements while maintaining a consistent core functionality.
  3. Scalability: As your operations grow, you might need multiple instances of the bot to handle increased demand or to cover different groups of customers.
These are just a few reasons why creating a copy of a bot can be beneficial so lets see how to do that.

How to create a bot copy

  1. Click into Bots (if you don't have access to bots speak to your system Admin). Select the grid icon at the top-right corner.
  2. Find the Bot you wish to copy, click on ACTION then DUPLICATE.
