Future Schedules


Using a future schedule you can now upload data to your Webio campaigns to send on a different day. The scheduler will now search for the next available day and schedule the messages for that day


For example if you want to upload a file on a Friday for messages to be sent on a Saturday, simply upload to a campaign that has no schedule for the Friday, but one for the Saturday.

Setting up your future schedule

Any time you import data into a campaign that doesn't have a schedule set for that day, the scheduler will now search for the next day with an available schedule and schedule for that day. 

To set up a campaign as a future schedule, build you campaign in the usual way but only set a schedule for the day you want the messages to go. 

Step 1 - Create your campaign



Step 2 - Select the day of the week you want to import data, to work as a future schedule this must be different to the day you want to send the messages.  



Step 3 - Set your fields and view the preview as you would with a standard campaign. 



Step 4 - Select the day you want the messages to be sent, this should be different to the day you set to import the data.  Fill in the other schedule details and create your campaign.



Step 5 - To send your messages, click into the list view on campaigns and select the upload arrow next to your campaign. 



Step 6 - You messages will be scheduled on the next available day.  



This is not limited by week, if a campaign had an import day of a Sunday and a send day of a Saturday messages would send the next Saturday.
