Generate an Api key for your organization

Overview 

Webio blended conversations allow you to seamlessly communicate between your clients with human or automated agents. Connecting these conversations with your internal systems provides richer conversations and slicker processes.

Using Webio published APIs you can configure the business process you require and automate instructions from your internal systems to your Webio organisation. To do so, you will need your Webio Organization API key and our API endpoints.

How to generate a public Api key for your organization

To generate an API key for your Organization:
  1. Log in to Webio, click Settings, and then click Organizations.
  2. Select the organization for which you want to generate the API key, click EDIT then INTEGRATIONS.
  3. From the integrations section, scroll down to Public Api se, then click GENERATE.                        
  4. You will see the warning message below, click GENERATE to continue.The warning message below will be displayed, make sure to note down in a safe place your public API key, to continue, click 'Generate'.


The API key will be displayed, make sure to take note of it and keep it in a safe place. It will remain valid for your organization until it is deleted.

Click CANCEL to close the message. 



You can now use your API key with our API endpoints to automate instruction onto your Webio organization. 
Alert
To send outbound conversations via the API you will also require a schedule ID that is associated with your organisation.  This can be retrieved from the campaign summary report within the reporting section or from Insights.
