The Sender ID it is set within each Bot from the IDs available to your Organization. Before creating a Bot you will have to set up the Sender IDs that the Bot will be sent from.
This will be dictated by the channel you want to create your bot for.
N.B. for SMS you can choose
Long Code – Standard 10-digit number, supports two-way messaging.
Short Code – 5 or 6-digit number.
Alphanumeric Sender ID (Brand Name) – Shows a brand name instead of a number, but is one-way only (recipients cannot reply).
To get long or short codes added to your organization please email support@webio.com, for brand names, simply follow the procedure explained below.
How to configure a Brand Name (SMS channel only)
Click SETTINGS, click EDIT on the desired Organization
Go to General
Scroll down until you see CHANNELS
Select SMS
Select NEW
Fill in Channel Address (Name appearing on your customer handset) and Description (Name appearing in the SENT TO field when configuring a bot.
Click SUBMIT

How to Share a Sender ID with a Sub-Organization
Please note that for the Webchat channel, the process outlined below doesn't apply. You will need to contact support@webio.com to have a new webchat url added or shared down with your suborg.
To share a Sender ID with a sub org, begin by logging into your main organization’s account (Or suborg parent org). This is where sender IDs are initially assigned before being shared.
Once logged in:
Go to Settings.
Select Organization from the available options.
In the Organizations section, find the sub-organization where you want to share the sender ID.
Click on Edit to access its settings.
Within the General section, scroll down until you reach the Channel section.
Click on ADD NEW to initiate the process.
Select the appropriate Channel Type.
Choose Existing as the channel option.
Select the Sender ID you wish to share.
Enter a Description for the sender ID. This description will be visible in the Sent From field when configuring a bot
Click Submit to finalize the configuration.
If you are unable to share the sender ID with your sub-organization, please log in to https://app.webio.com and retry the process described above. If the issue persists, contact support at support@webio.com for further assistance.
