In App Notifications

In App Notifications

Overview

Stay on top of your tasks and never miss a beat with our new In App Notifications feature. When you are logged to Webio and a new conversation is assigned to you, you’ll receive an immediate notification, ensuring you’re always in the loop, no matter you are working on another Webio screen or on another internet browser tab. Our notification system keeps you updated so you can prioritize and manage your tasks efficiently. Stay organized, stay productive!

How it works?

The notification system is based on the queue conversations assignment rule. - Queue settings and behaviour -

So all the the App users:

1) That are logged in at the time of the conversation assignment happening.
2) That have access to the queue and have been included in the queue assignment rule configuration.

Will receive a notification every time a new conversation is assigned to them.

So for example, when a queue, is configured on a round robin assignment rule, and a new conversation is assigned to an user, the notifications system will deliver, to all the applicable users, notifications following the round robin rule.
Talk to your administrator if you do not have access to the queue screen.
Each user has the ability to configure their notification system from the Notifications>Settings screen.

From here the user can:

1) Decide whether or not to enable notifications for their account.
2) Decide whether or not to enable the alert sound when a new conversation is assigned to the user.
3) Decide whether to receive notifications from all channels available to your organization or only from the selected channels.
4) Decide whether to receive notifications for conversations that occur on your organization and all its sub-organizations, or select which organizations they  want to receive notifications from.
